The rooms
The estate has 30 rooms in 7 different and unique buildings. All the rooms and buildings are fully equipped to make your meetings a success. Most rooms are on ground level with direct access to a beautiful outdoor area. Weather permitting, you can take the training outside. You are not limited to the courtyard, you can conduct meetings under the trees or have a presentation on the roof of our theatre. Learning outside inspires people in a different way.
Maitland Theatre
We would like to highlight Maitland Theatre. With 275 seats, Maitland offers a unique stage for many different business gatherings. From congresses and lectures to theatre shows and music performances.
The food
Good food is an essential energy source to remain productive and make the most of your learning experience. At De Horst Estate good food is very important, all our meals are designed to give you the energy you need for mental and physical performance.
The menus from our international kitchen are designed with fresh seasonal produce. Almost all the produce we use is biological and Fairtrade certified.
Staying overnight
De Horst Estate has 40 double deluxe rooms that together form a surprising experience hotel in a peaceful green setting. From the moment you set foot in your hotel room, inspiring art, photography, music and the tranquility of the estate will surround you. Instead of numbers, the rooms have intriguing names like ‘Let there be light’, ‘Play Time’ and ‘At low tide your Island is bigger’. Every room has its own story and character.
The 73 single standard rooms are simply furnished and designed specifically to encourage resting and sleeping in comfortable single beds. An overnight stay includes a shower, television, phone and free Wi-Fi.
